Everyone knows that emo only means one thing, Emotional. The final image of Emo style is a nonchalant coolish character or personality that one tries to achieve. Emo culture and style adopts its own music, look, and clothing styles. It is associated with music which is a mix of punk and hard rock. The choice and style of clothing and the personality of the emo is that of someone seeking a lot of attention. To truly achieve total emo style some fashion elements are necessary. Accessories needed for emos styles are: Headbands, Bangle Bracelets, Cocktail Rings, Jackets, High Boots with Fur. Body piercing and the use of tatoos can also be observed in emo styling. All these items must be combined in such a way as to reflect their true feelings. The hairstyles are unique and is one of the major focus points to emo style. Mostly, hairs are dyed in true black and highlighted with bold colored streaks, it is then ironed flat and flipped to one side. Another obvious trend is the unusually thick and black eyeliners used for the makeup. Tight clothing and sporting a sad expression on the face has also become the emo trademark. One of the major differences between Emo and Scenes styles are the use of loud and bold colors for the hairstyles in Scene Fashion. Colors of the Rainbows and neon colors are preferred. Scene hair are most definitely Bigger than Emo hair. Scene kids are more into the look of Sanrio characters, like Hello Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars etc. And also, Gloomy Bear is a popular thing for them.
